Nurse Staffing agency is swamped in paper

The Problem…

In 2001 we were asked by a nurse staffing agency to help them with their computers.  While organizing their network we heard them complain about having to run back to the office to get schedules and information for managing their employees.  This cost them time, gas and sometimes they had to make these office runs at 1 or 2 am in the morning.  Even when they were in the office, finding things meant hunting through paper files even though they were well organized. 

Our Solution…

• We built a secure online calendar that allowed them to see all their employees and their schedules online with color coding for different shifts.  At one glance the customer could see schedules daily, monthly or yearly.  
  
• We built in a document tracking engine that allowed them to see all their documents and search for them like they were searching google.
  
• They were able to access all of this information with just a username and password from any computer that had an internet connection.
  

The solution eliminated late night runs to the office and enabled the business to grow by 33% in one year by enabling more skilled part time people to work from home that would normally not have been able to work for the company.
