Your Site Are you new to using
Google Analytics? Well, you've stopped at the right place. We can
help you get started and show you how to set up Google analytics on your
site.

http://www.google.com/analytics/ and log in to your account.
The login page should look like the following image.

sign in with your user name and password. The following page
should appear once you have signed in:

- The tracking code will load once you have
accepted the user agreement. Copy this code and paste it into
every html page that you want to track. The code should go
before the </body> tag.

- Scroll to the bottom and click the "continue"
button once you have finished with the tracking code. The next
page will give you details about the reports that have been done and
allows you to make changes to your settings here. The status
will change to "receiving data" once the tracking code is uploaded
to your site. When you sign in again with your account, this
is the page that you will see:

Note: Google analytics will not start tracking your
pages until the tracking code is put on them.
- If you have more than one website, you can add another website
profile onto this account by clicking on "Add Website Profile."
Follow the steps to create another profile. Notice that you
will have different tracking codes for each profile you create,
therefore, you must make sure you are putting them on the right html
pages.
- Once you are done with setting up your profiles, you should wait
about a week to a month to see any real results. Your reports
will show you how many visitors came to your site, the traffic
sources, top content pages, and much more.
- If you want to allow others to see your reports or to become an
administrator, that option is also available. Click "user
manager" to create user accounts. You can add a user by click
"add user." A regular user can see all of the reports that you
are able to see and an administrator can make changes to your
account settings and the report settings.
